  • After that, a T-connector (PVC) is moved along the open end of the sewer pipe in such a way so that it goes up and down on the mentioned pipe. Then a filter is to be fastened on the top surface of the T-connector. As these connectors are going underground, that is why gluing is not needed in this case.
  • The next task is to calibrate the T-connector to mount the upper part with the drain with the ground. The rainfall-runoff from the downspouts will first fill the hole that is packed with sand. Any surplus of this will flow up out of the pipe and on the top of the basement. The drain can be opened to clean out whenever necessary.
  • Finally, the trench has to be filled with packing dirt around the pipe, and the surface is expected to be smooth.
